The first was in Iraq on the highway into Baghdad, the latest Russian RPG at the time. Armor would always be my last choice in MOS

Footage of a group of Ukrainian soldiers leaving Avdeevka. Military personnel use the Dutch YPR-765 tracked armored vehicles developed in 1970, we previously talked about them. Also in the video you can see two Ukrainian tanks leaving Avdiivka, one of them is on fire, apparently the tank came under attack from an FPV drone. Avdiivka is considered the main fortified area of the Ukrainian army in the Donbass; it was created in 2014.

Interesting story about "COHONE EH?". Hit by something in it's rear stowage rack, which caught fire. Fire spread to engine compartment. They attempted to tow it out, but in the end decided to destroy it in place to avoid capture. Very tough tank to destroy.

The Ukrainian fortifications slow the Russians to a snail speed of advance but the extra manpower and hardware they have does push through in the end.

My totally out of the hat two cents tend me to believe that Ukraine will settle with a consequent territory loss.

However, Russia will never have the ability to occupy and police most of the country and will refrain to do so.

Russia may not have lost as many young men as we are inclined to believe but they have lost a lot of young people regardless....young people that will never be replaced...young people that will not participate in economic development, in innovation or anywhere Russia needs. Whatever happens, Russia has devoured a big part of its future to try to keep its image as a superpower.

Ukraine will be ruined, but might be able to join the EU, to redevelop after years of hardship.

Their losses, are somewhere around what the UK lost in WW2.

You could see some 'interesting' societal changes, disabled men become more attractive, maybe more gay women, that would upset a few russian leaders. Didnt the german soldiers after WW1 lead to Hitler?

Maybe Ukr has to fragment, but I hope they sign a secret agreement with EU, so in 5 years time they can be suspended, while launching a blitzkrieg attack on the russian forces...

And maybe, Russian forces are very hollow, and like Normandy etc, Ukr just needs to get going in a few months time. They certainly seem to have a plan regarding Russian logistics, and the bridge stay up, while they have the kit to close it, so it will close when the Ukr wants it shut.

Of course........the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and the next day Hitler declared war on the US. So "America First" meant kicking everyone's ass.

The Russian Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal tonight.

The text is of Navalny’s famous message from beyond the grave:

“Don’t give up!”

...

I still remember this embassy from the old soviet times when I was a kid. My late father used to live just across the street and me and some pals used to try to talk with the russian kids just on the other side of the gates. Everyday around 18.30 we heard the soviet anthem playing and remember also the Ladas parked just in front.

Footage of a Ukrainian Banshee Jet-80 kamikaze jet drone, manufactured in Great Britain, intercepted and landed by Russian electronic warfare units. The Banshee Jet-80 jet drone is manufactured by Qinetic and is used by the UK Navy as an aerial target. The drone's range exceeds 100 km, the maximum speed is 720 km/h, the drone can stay in the air for up to 45 minutes and rise to a height of up to 7500 meters. Reportedly, upon inspection of the drone, 7 kilograms of explosives were found. As a result of decoding the flight mission of the Banshee Jet-80 drone, it turned out that the drone was supposed to circle over the Novoazovsky region and hit an object in Mariupol, approaching the target from the Taganrog Bay.
