With all due respect to Javelin and NLAW, it doesn’t look it was any of those. More like tank/anti tank projectile hitting from behind

If this is the level of entrenchments that Russia has dug than they should be preparing either withdrawals or more mass burials. The bare minimum of trench digging, waist high, unsupported and with faint zig-zagging. The amount of bodies littering those shallow trenches is quite high evidencing that they offer little cover from modern drone-spotted precision fires.

At one point it looks like they are trying to duel it out with a mortar section. Guns stopped having volley sights for a reason you know! 😋

can anyone give a loose translated synopsis of this? any idea of the area? at one point later in the video their trench appears to be on the high ground...

we learned about the beaten zone but its not something I would ever count on to be very effective! or even worth wasting ammunition on.
do you know the area this is in?

one thing I have noticed, and this of course anecdotal, from watching videos, the Ukrainians, for the most part seem to appear to be much better trained and disciplined than 8 months ago or so. still some butthole clenching footage of grunts firing right past others heads from behind, but assaults, security halts, spacing, tactical movements etc... in a couple of years they will be training us!
