Come on man, those russian talk shows may be full of it sometimes but when they say Trump gave them time to prepare, it´s difficult to find something Trump did to slow Russia down from its ambitions. Trump also got owned big time by North Korea. Trump actualy believed he could isolate China by being soft on Russia and North Korea. But he´s not Nixon: he does´nt have smart people around him and the times have changed.

What the Russkies probably did is underestimate Biden, who regardless of all his flaws put the USA on the line.

Gave them time to prepare? How? By having the only 4 year period where they didn't dare attack someone?

Fact is with Trump gone, they figured they'd walk right in and take over like they did in Georgia, Crimea and Donbass and no one would say even one word.

I'm not sure how Trump was soft on Russia. You may have to enlighten me on that. I also don't how he got owned by the NORKs, there were no missile flying over Japan during that time. And Russia being forced closer to China is DEFINITELY not a good thing.

My take is that the world was watching what a senile idiot Biden was/is, the ass reaming the Chinese gave Blinken in Alaska in 3/21, followed by the disastrous exit from Afghanistan Biden's people orchestrated 5 months later, and Putin calculated this would be a complete cake walk because no one was home at the White House.

For Russia, sure they had noone to invade. As for the USA during Trump years, what were the talks about Ukraine about? Not forgetting that Crimea had been annexed and illegal occupation was ongoing. The Russkies had time to prepare because apart from Hunter Biden, interest in Ukraine from the US side was nothing. Not sure any military assistance was provided in order not to upset Putin.

As for North Korea, when the USA cancels military exercises with South Korea and in October 2020 the Norks roll out the monster missile they finished designing.

Trump supplied Ukraine with Javelins while Obama would go no further than blankets. Let's not forget about Vindman and the State Dept clowns based in Kiev. Yes, there was interest in Ukraine. They were all corrupt and thick as thieves while trying to take down a duly elected President. I believe Vindman is making money off the war as we speak with one of his companies.
