IMO, this war must be end ASAP. Yesterday Silicone Valley bank collapsed, bank was ranked 16th in US. Afraid it’s not the last, this war must end before big economic crisis. Otherwise we will end up with double trouble. If not f16/18/a10 than at least “Predators” must be handed over. I fully support Ukraine, but this war hits the pocket harder and harder
Absolutely.

Silicon Valley Bank may be the start of contagion in the banking industry. You can only create money in the TRILLIONS out of thin air for so long before it bites you. Worse, it puts pressure on the dollar as the world's reserve currency. All bets are off if that collapses. Iran/China/India/Russia are already pressuring the end of the Petro-Dollar.

This war will end when both sides negotiate an end. All this talk about let's keep it going on forever is ridiculous. Regardless of what they say, I'm confident Russia might be looking for an off ramp.

I think it will end in next 4-6 months, maybe sooner. Russian ‘offensive’ didn’t have much offence. I hope Ukraine will do better, and putin gets deposed, civil war in Russia, eu offers enough money to Russia that they actually have some real elections, and vote in real democracy. World will be a better place, to perfect, but better.
Yes, the next 6 months will tell the tale.

I'm actually not a fan of civil war in Russia. VERY DANGEROUS instability. Especially with thousands of nukes, (working or not) all over the place. A democratic Russia may also be a fantasy. I'm really not concerned if they don't get Thomas Jefferson as a leader, as long as they are stable, get along with their neighbors and are willing to join the community of nations. We will have enough other bad guys to deal with after this.

This war won’t end this year. Wars with Russia are never quick. The Russians don’t care about their casualties and there’s nobody to challenge the Russian leadership. 500,000 more casualties won’t break their back, as that’s the number of people in Russia dying of alcohol related-diseases every year. Ukraine must get the weapon that will enable it hit Russian supply depots and airbases that are located hundreds of kilometres away from the border. The West cannot keep up with the production of ammunition for Ukraine, while the latter has to stockpile a fvckton of ammo before starting a new offensive.

If you believe this war will end in 6 months, you know nothing about RuZZia unless you mean the West will get bored of supporting Ukraine and will stop delivering it supplies, thus forcing it to cede a part of its territory to RuZZia. If Putain dies or is replaced, there won’t be anybody nicer as a RuZZian leader. Polish journalists describe the future RuZZian leadership as a “collective Putin”. The RuZZians don’t like democracy, as they have never had it apart from a few years under Yeltsin and the Novgorod Republic a few centuries ago. Democracy is associated with a humiliation, RuZZia losing its relevance, instability, an economic crash, empty shelves at shops, etc.
The RuZzians are the ancestors of the Mongol Empire and they love when their leader is harsh. Just see Stalin’s popularity that has skyrocketed in this century. Unlike people in the West, the RuZZians are ready to suffer a lot for its leadership to achieve their goal.

Your leaders tried to impose democracy on Afghanistan and Iraq and it didn’t work. It won’t work in RuZZia either.

On the nukes, we just offer $100k per warhead, and watch them roll in. Been done in the past.

We don't need Russia to be a democracy, we just need them to stop being Global Superpricks for the first time since the year dot.

I don't care what they do as long as they keep it on their side of the internationally recognized border. Turn to cannibalism for all I care.

If you want to f*ck up your own house that's your problem, if it spills into mine there's going to BE a problem.

That's literally exactly what I'm saying.
The Mongoł Empire collapsed due to being too big and the infighting. Also, its enemies made some advances in technology and light cavalry stopped being so effective.

Likewise, the Germans loaded Lenin onto a train to fvck RuZZia up internally. The thing is, the Ruzzian leadership got their lessons learned, so at the time of the Internet and smartphones arresting another Lenin won’t be a difficult task.

Changing putler won’t change ruZZia. Navalny - absolutely same as putler, he will became next führer. It’s not about leaders, it’s about ruZZian mentality. You need to reprogram whole nation, sounds crazy but that’s the truth. ruZZia must be disassembled to tiny pieces - that’s the only way to stop this madness. ruZZkies always need a tzar. They don’t care who it will be jew, georgian, scandinavian or alien from Nibiru. They will spoil and make out of any leader a tzar. Slaves always need a master

Russia being restored to the borders of the late 15th century sounds like a plan.

Poor little RoZZiya always being attacked by imperialists trying to destroy it ?

I forgot to remind you all a short story about Ivan Grozny. So, at some point, he got bored of ruling RuZZia and started living in a monastery. I don’t remember if it was at the time when he killed his son and got depressed. By that time, he had already been insane, his behaviour was irrational and overly cruel. His boyars visited the monastery and begged him to start ruling RuZZia again, as they were missing living under his boot. He agreed for their proposal and came back to Moscow. One of his first decisions was to murder these boyars.
It’s just their nature. Tukhachevsky shouted: “long live comrade Stalin!” just before being shot dead by the firing squad at Stalin’s order.

Putler once said “russia has no borders”. Peter the 1st, also said once IIRC “if there is a place where once was a russian flag, then it’s russia”. Do you remember, when ruZZians (
erected (if it’s a correct term under water) their flag under Arctic? Now they really think they own it. I told them, in that case US owns a Moon, they start arguing “that’s against the rules”, when they need it there’re rules
