Why did no one pay attention to the pattern on the military uniform? Ukraine uses a pixel pattern

Russian and Ukrainian special forces both use a very similar type of multicam. Also there is little standardization, even more so among the Ukrainians. The IFF tape is used for good reason. In this war uniforms themselves aren't a good way to distinguish who is who.

Because SOF on both sides use very similar patterns like multicam and you can also observe them all using Gorka or Gorka-esque combat suits, including foreign volunteers. So it comes down to smaller details like belts, iffs etc and common sense.

".......o sum up the long piece: most of the professionals sabotage propaganda work, despite looking like accomplices of the regime from the West, they actually feel like hostages - a reader used to Hungarian conditions might say to them "then go and become a weaver or a shop assistant", but knowing Russian conditions, it is more likely that they would be punished in case of mass resignations.

And what is it that they no longer want to put their names to? I have left you with the most disgusting propaganda trick I have come across in the last week. The UNIAN reports that the Russian forces occupying Mariupol have begun clearing the rubble from the dramatic theatre they bombed. At least 600 women and children were killed in the bombing of the shelter, if you remember, even though there were several metres of signs in front of and behind the building saying 'There are children here'.

The clearing of the rubble did not become a final act of respect - once the rescue work had been prevented by the ongoing fire. But no. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, in the presence of Russian government press, announced: 'Our military investigators ... have searched the building of the Drama Theatre in Mariupol', and found only the bodies of Azovists, and few of them. What is the explanation for the unbearable smell of corpses that had been hanging over the area for a long time? Cynically, they said: 'It's the smell of spoiled food. There must have been a lot of fish in the food warehouse."

I will try to put it delicately: it seems to me that the current leadership of the Russian Federation has no regard for the dignity of the dead or the living." https://www.zonaporkolt.com/2022/05...e2wb8JxyWRUGoErnyObHqIgGeJOPUNtlThWhrutxy-UlU

Hope you didn't vote for the POS Eugen Schmidt.

A foreign agent with an alleged double passport a Russian one.

The AfD is unvotable at the moment antivaxxers and putinism galore.

Subersive and unpatritic guy working for Russia as a mole in Germany.

That dude is indeed not in my district, so propably dodged a bullet there. If the AfD continues to ride the edge on the question of whether Germany ought to be in the Western Camp, I will gladly kick them to the curb.

My CDU vote was very tentative and if they don't undertake credible efforts to move Germany out of this woodwork of unsavoury dependencies I won't vote for them again. Merkel was a Maulheld of the highest order, constantly berating Putin but never once doing anything that would hurt him substantially. She was the same in her "Iran-policy" if you can even call it that.

Germany's Industriepolitik was an utter disgrace these last two decades and look where that got us. Even a lunatic like Björn Höcke actually understands that Germany needs to modernise and expand its industrial base rather than ship it off to China. There is little that has strenghtened and enabled the Russians so much as the Europeans deciding that they don't really want to do any of these tedious things anymore, such as manufacturing goods or producing energy.

And don't give me the FDP, that party of used-car-salesmen would strip-sell this nation to foreign powers if that made shareholders happy.

The NGO he works with is only paid to contest Ukrainian claims, not Russian ones. I wonder who pays for their "expenses" ?

Like I said in an earlier post, I ain't even gonna go there. Being critical the way some ppl choose to be, doesn't necessarily mean they were pro Russian. Maybe they just figure, the overwhelmingly pro-Ukraine/West stance, required some headwind. Whatever the drive. Yes, I know it seems a little sus sometimes how one-sided the criticism is, but at the same time, they are right to remind that the information war was fought by both sides. I don't really care. I see what I think is wrong, I respond.

Taras Chmut confirmed that this was done by Bayraktar, not fighter aircraft.

Key word "I believe". It's an assumption.

We don't know anything about that video and barely what it shows.

They could be Russians, they could be Ukrainians. Both sides have lied, though it could be argued Ukraine is very found of bombastic claims.
Mmmm . . . I think Putler's, " there is no war/invasion in Ukraine" tops anything the UKR has come out with so far.

Hopefully FH70 is faster to reload/operate. Thanks to the special design of M777 it seems like its labor intensive to fire fast.

So Kirby didn't send the firing system or the guided munitions? What was the point of it then.

I am bored with all this "my weapon system is better than your weapon system"
A good crew can fire 6 round / min with a M777 as well ....
M777 RoF is given at 2 rpm but with standard NATO safety procedure

Thats why i said it seems labor intensive (2 person needed to sight the gun one on either side, no direct access to the breach so you have to put the propellant charge over the top, the gun is so low that they had to make a curved stick etc.) mainly thanks to the design philosophy behind the gun. It does not make it better or worse but its obviously made with a different operating produce that seems harder to master.

If it's banned depends on whether you consider Azovstal a civilian or a military area .... WP is banned in inhabited enironments like towns. Azovstal in it's current state it's debatable.

Legal issues aside, it's only gonna sway public opinion even more against Russia, in Ukraine and beyond ... granted, there is little reputation or affection still to be lost left.

The 58 cal barrel bet they won't be getting either.
Have to wonder if they want a quicker end to this conflict.
