SA 2 ,T54/55 and other equipment in a temporary base outside of Hanoi for a parade but not sure which year .

Vietnam first armor vehicle were m8 greyhound , half track , first tank was m24 , some where capture in dien phu , while majority of truck/vehicle/armor vehicle were capture in the famous ambush of GM100 a French convoy of they most elite ( and majority of the unit were French too who just come from south korea after fighting the north Korean and Chinese )btw anyone know what the jeep uncle ho ride on ? seem like a Japanese jeep

flak 88mm were used by our airdefense in early day of the war , heck maybe the last kill the old girl get was in Vietnam

These are actually wax figures from a museum, look at them close.......I don't know what museum however

well it wax , but it a thing we do in war and after war , in war they will cut open unexplored bomb , arty shell to get explosive inside which later used to made grenade , mine , ... after the war there are so many left over bomb and arty shell un explore that there a job ( illegal btw ) of cutting bomb / arty shell for scrap metal , while the explosive are either used to catch fish, mining or just left to rotten , there is even a movie about it , few years ago in ha noi a guy house was blow up cause he sawing a bomb @@ and his house was on the street front and new resident zone and new building not some poor people place or country side ( middle class ) , seem like it was the guy hobby after all the year cutting bomb and arty shell + btw we Vietnamese are weirdo , we don't fear dying if we aint alone , the govt found a bomb under long bien bridge yet everyone come on top of the bridge to watch and near by it along the shoal , when reporter ask a lady , don't you afraid ? she say well im not gona die alone if it blow up so nope ? ?

I don't think this is in ha noi and the picture seem like taken after the war ( the cloth they wear look more like southern fashion , which north Vietnam only start to adapt after 1975 ( more like adapt in the 80s) ) , the post say grave yard of 45 student ( must be elementary in hoa lan commune ( which also not a common village name for northern Vietnam village )( village school ) kill by American bomb 16/3/65 if this is in north Vietnam , then the bomb must hit a evacuation school for young kid ( baby - high school kid were evacuate to village ( like England evacuated children out of city to small town / village ) from city and town , my mother / her brother/sister were evacuated to a village and was taken care by this type of school , in the weekend my grandmother like other mother will bike from early morning all the way from the city to the village they children stay carry candy/cracker / food supply ( rice / meat / ... ) and bike back in the night ) gona try to find more info about this pic

found it , the photo was taken in central Vietnam ( da nang city now day ) a bomb drop hit a elementary school name man quang ,btw the south Vietnam keep bull dozer the grave of the children ( from the photo you can see there are no grave and it flat , Vietnamese grave are never flat ) no wonder my parent always say the central Vietnamese are the most hardline vs the south Vietnam and America , they get bomb most , suffer most ( from both nature and bomb / war ) btw le duan ( the man who actually are leader of Vietnam after ho chi minh die and befor his death for few years was from central Vietnam and he the most hardline guy about fighting it out instead of pursue north Korean way of develop economy befor taking back the south like china/soviet wanted )
