While a sound design, Romania hadn't the resources to make as many as needed or arm them sufficiently. They saw a lot of action defending Ploesti oilfields from American B-24 bombers and their fighter escorts.

My under standing is not one original example remains anywhere, the Soviets destroyed every example that survived the war, the models in the Romanian Military Museum and Romanian Airforce Museum in Buchurest are post war 1:1 scale mock ups.
