Taliban fighters have ambushed two convoys of the Afghan National Army (ANA) in the provinces of Maidan Wardak and Helmand.
The first military convoy came under attack near the village of Deh Afghanan in the central province of Maidan Wardak on June 1, 2021
During the ambush, Taliban fighters destroyed a Humvee armored vehicle and a M1117 armored security vehicle of the ANA. The fighters also seized some weapons and ammunition.
