INS Delhi of the Sunrise Fleet, Frigate Baden-Württemberg and Tanker Frankfurt Am Main of the German Navy undertook their maiden Maritime partnership Exercise in the Indian Ocean including cross deck flying operations, underway replenishment, weapon firings and tactical manoeuvres.
The maiden Indian Navy – Deutsche Marine Maritime Partnership Exercise in the Bay of Bengal is aimed at further strengthening the maritime connect b/n the two nations & interoperability b/n the navies.
Indian Navy's Water Jet Fast Attack Craft INS Kalpeni arrived at Colombo, Sri Lanka , 19 Oct 24. The ship was accorded a warm welcome by the Sri Lanka Navy. The visit aims to further strengthen maritime cooperation b/n the two Navies in keeping with the vision of SAGAR.

Designed to produce 144,000shp to allow for a top speed of 31 knots, HMS Hood comfortably exceeded this. During her builder trials in 1920, HMS Hood produced 151,300shp and achieved a top speed of 32.07 knots.
