Northern Fleet Project 671RTMK Shchuka (NATO Victor III) class SSN Svatoy Daniil Moskovskiy (B-414)
Svatoy Daniil Moskovskiy (B-414) was laid down in 1989 as yard no.01695 at Sudomekh Shipyard in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), USSR as K-414.
K-414 was launched and commissioned in 1990. In 1992 she was renamed to B-414 and in 1996 to "Svatoy Daniil Moskovskiy" (B-414).
For the 33 years her homebase was Ara Bay Base in Vidyayevo, Murmansk.
In 2013 it was decided there will be no further modernization for the Victor III-class SSNs and B-414 was finally decommissioned in 2022 and towed to Nerpa Shipyard for recycling

On November 5, 2023, after transiting Suez Canal, an Ohio-class submarine USS Florida (SSGN-728) & destroyer USS Gravely (DDG-107) arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. They are assigned to Dwight D. Eisenhower CSG & deployed to 5th Fleet area of operations.

Brandenburg-class frigate Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (F-218) recently shadowed Project 06363 (NATO Improved Kilo) class submarine Krasnodar (B-265) transiting the English Channel on her way to St. Petersburg. Nov 2023

USN:
Sturgeon-class attack submarine USS Bergall (SSN-667) emergency surfacing manoeuvre, date unknown.
USS Bergall (SSN-667) was laid down in 1966, launched in 1968 and commissioned on 13 June 1969. Motto: Invisible, Invulnerable, Invincible Trivia: Bergall was the first east-coast submarine to carry a Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV)
USS Bergall (SSN-667) was decommissioned after 27 years of service in 1996 & disposed of at PSNS, Bremerton, in 1997.
