11 Palestinian terrorists have been killed including 6 claimed by Hamas. The mission is concentrating on pushing back against Irainian weapon transfers and hitting those responsible for the failed truck bomb in Tel Aviv. Foreign minister Katz is calling for civilian evacuations to take place so that a proper combat offensive can be carried out. This is the biggest raid on the area since the Second Intifada and is likely to last several days according to those in charge.

Good luck as ever to Israel on wiping out the "resistance" scum.

Top Hamas official Khaled Mashaal calls for a resumption of suicide bombings in the West Bank, according to reports in Arabic media, including Sky News Arabia.

In a video address to a conference in Istanbul, Turkey, Mashaal says: “We want to return to [suicide] operations. This is a situation that can only be addressed by open conflict. They are fighting us with open conflict, and we are confronting them with open conflict.”

“I repeat my call to everyone to participate on multiple fronts in the actual resistance against the Zionist entity,” he adds.

UKLFI warns ICC Prosecutor that he is breaching professional rules

The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has been warned that he is breaching the Court’s rules and the Code of Conduct of the English Bar in his applications for the arrest of Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant.

UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) has written to the Prosecutor, Karim Khan KC, warning him that he is breaching these rules by misleading the Court, failing to update and correct information previously provided, and not providing information and evidence exonerating the accused.

If not satisfied with Mr Khan’s response, UKLFI will report its concerns to the ICC and the Bar Standards Board (BSB).

The Prosecutor filed applications at the Court on 20 May 2024 seeking warrants for the arrest of Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant. Those applications have not been published but the Prosecutor made a public statement on the day he filed them, in which he purported to summarise the grounds on which they were based.

Those grounds centred around a charge that under the leadership of Netanyahu and Gallant, Israel has used and is using starvation of the civilian population as a method of warfare, by allegedly imposing a complete siege on Gaza.

UKLFI analysed Khan’s public statement and found that every phrase of every sentence of his summary of the charges was contradicted by information in the public domain, including important information that came to light after 20 May 2024.

Khan's trying to mount his defence that "the founding statute doesn't allow the judges to receive further evidence or hear counter-arguments" at this stage of the process, but if said evidence that exists is contradicted by further evidence, he can't just dismiss it...

Analysis: Israel is targeting orchestrators of West Bank terrorism | FDD's Long War Journal

Israel is leveraging the current war against Hamas, Hezbollah, and its Iranian-led allies to carry out a campaign of targeted eliminations against entities involved in terrorist activities in the West Bank. Israeli operations have eliminated members of Palestinian terrorist groups that orchestrate West Bank violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

On August 21, Khalil al-Maqdah, a Fatah leader and one of the founders of al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, died when a missile hit his vehicle in the city of Sidon, Lebanon. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the targeting and accused Maqdah of smuggling weapons to terrorist groups in the West Bank and organizing terror attacks.

Earlier this year, the Israeli military implicated Khalil’s brother, Mounir al-Maqdah, in transferring weapons to terrorist groups in the West Bank and fomenting violence under the direction of Hezbollah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Following Khalil’s death, Mounir affirmed the IDF’s suspicion, saying that his sibling was “responsible for transferring weapons to the Resistance inside Palestine.”

The killing of Mounir is undoubtedly not a one-off event after Hamas’s terrorist attack on October 7. It’s only the latest in a string of targeted killings against individuals who are actively supporting, plotting, and carrying out terrorist attacks against Israelis in the West Bank.
