Jeez - the 30 round LMG mag sounded like a great idea when I was a spotty teenager but it was a bitch to handle the rifle in anything but the standing position because it was so long. I guess there aren't that many prone engagements in the jungle but I wouldn't want to be the guy with it in a deliberate ambush!
