He was probably given it by the Colour Sergeant, respect amongst warriors still exists

I found a photoset of Falklands pics on a Russian site and lifted these. As well as I know most are from the Argentine perspective.

Sargento Martín René Colque "el gato cazador", he was from the group of Commandos that participated in the combats of San Carlos Bay, as commander of the "cat section", they fired their mortars until they finished the ammunition without having protection or coverage of the intense naval fire against their position; before being captured he took his beret and insignia of degree and buried them in position; he died in 2015

The peculiar thing of the uniform is the woolen sweater that it uses, it belongs to Color Sargent of the Royal Marines Commandos; his belt has on the engraved buckle the shield of the Falkland Islands.

I love the stories of the Falklands War, I find myself lately reading about the air war, I guess I'd lost track of how many aircraft were lost on both sides, this was quite a bit more of a scrap than I first realized. Listening/watching the YouTube videos of the interview with Cmdr Nigel David 'Sharkey' Ward, each are about 40 or so min. long I'm on #2 of 4 now, he's a very sharp, masterful, and cocky chap I must say and the stories of our legendary Sea Harrier and Sharkey's prowise with the machine is amazing to listen to him talk about it all. I did not know all this about him or the RN Harriers abilities.....great stuff to listen too!!!
