I was a member of the Royal Marines band attached to the medical squadron. Surgeon Commander Jolly [in the video above] was a great boss, doctor, officer and leader! On D-Day 21st May he move the medical unit ashore and at the last minute decided we [the band] would stay onboard Canberra as the main military unit to receive and guard Argentine POW's . Our interesting, exciting ,sad and funny experiences are captured
