Thanks for responding. The year 2008 does explain the outdated technology present in this picture. These guys always stay up to date and have the budget to keep being up to date.

I have questions about the white tape on both his CQO and facemask, but whatevs lol.

Can anyone help identify these rifles, in use with the Tanzanian Police? Norinco? KADDB?

No idea but the top picture looks like it either was a prop photo to show that they're getting near gear or that dud is a soup sandwich because:

Hand on holstered secondary acting like he's going to use it while holding a primary with superior ballistics like it was useless to him...
...His battle rattle has no mag pouches and the one on his opposite side is empty...plus it all looks like he never did time other than the office with it as it's pristine.

Second bottom two show field troops with actual finger disciplines and gear that shows FAFO to any would be troublemakers. The handguards look like they were private purchased locally.

I cannot ID the M4 makes, sorry being no real help as I'd need better photos of the writing on them. However after reading this link, most likely USA sourced.
