USAF Fighter Pilots Are Now Flying With Converted M4 Rifles In Their Ejection Seat Survival Kits

The rifles break in half and have other special features so they can fit inside the survival kit underneath a pilot's ejection seats.

Given the numbers of NDs I saw at BZN and LYE, I'm not sure giving any aircrew a weapon is a good idea!

To be fair I've seen a fair few NDs at places that are supposed to be a lot more HSLD than Brize and Lyneham but you have a point...
