General Manoj Pande COAS also interacted with troops deployed in the forward areas and lauded them for their continuous vigil & high morale. COAS also exhorted them to keep working with same zeal and enthusiasm.

General Manoj Pande COAS visited forward areas along the Line of Control to review the operational preparedness. COAS was briefed by commanders on ground about the anti-infiltration grid & robust posture to maintain the sanctity of Line of Control.

Upon completion of visit, the ships will participate in Maritime Partnership Exercise MPX at sea with Indonesian Navy towards further bolstering the high degree of interoperability that already exists bwtween the two navies.

Continuing with relief efforts in far flung villages in Himachal Pradesh cut off due to rains, IAF helicopters delivered essential supplies as well as inserted medical teams in Shaakti and Morar.

Torrential rains have caused supply disruptions at far flung places in Himachal Pradesh due to roads being washed off. IAF helicopters have delivered essential supplies at Shaakti, Maror and Shansher which are cut off due to rains.

Indian Army signed the contract for procurement of Remotely Piloted Aerial Vehicle (RPAV) developed through the iDEX channel. The airborne platform would enhance the surveillance, targeting & tracking capability and carry out precision targeting of enemy targets.
