Indian Navy ships INS Aditya & INS Visakhapatnam undertook Maritime Partnership Exercise MPX with the US Naval Carrier Strike Group comprising US Navy ships USS Theodore Roosevelt & USS Daniel Inouye in the Arabian Sea on 12 Jul.

The ships undertook Replenishment at Sea, Cross deck flying ops, Air Defence exercises including maritime manoeuvres demonstrating seamless Indian Navy - US Navy interoperability & enhancing the ability to undertake complex joint maritime ops.

Exercise Nomadic Elephant 2024
The 16th edition of the India-Mongolia Joint Military Exercise, Nomadic Elephant culminated today at Umroi, Meghalaya after rigorous training & collaboration. The exercise facilitated Synergy in the conduct of joint semi-conventional operations in semi urban/mountainous terrain and strengthened the interoperability between the two Armed Forces.

ICG firefighting OP to make safe MV Maersk Frankfurt enters Day 06. Sporadic fire in smouldering containers being tackled by
Indian Coast Guard Ships. 200 Kgs Dry Chemical Powder airdropped at seat of fire by an ALH helicopter. ICG's efforts are being gradually augmented by ship owners.

Remembering the supreme sacrifice of Bravehearts who laid down their lives during Op Vijay defending the country, Indian Navy’s P8I aircraft from INAS 312, INS Rajali participated in the Kargil Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav Flypast. The flypast witnessed participation of 15 aircraft from the three services. It was the maiden P8I flypast in the Kashmir Valley.

Indian Navy successfully evacuates a Critically injured Chinese Mariner from Bulk Carrier ZHONG SHAN MEN, 200nm (approx 370km) from Mumbai. Maritime Rescue Co-ordination Centre, Mumbai received a distress call on PM 23 Jul 24 from the bulk carrier reporting heavy blood loss due to critical injury to 51 Year old mariner requesting immediate evacuation. Responding to the medical emergency, a Seaking helo was launched from Indian Navy Air Station INS Shikra at 0550 hrs today. Challenging weather conditions with winds over 45 knots & heavy rolling of the ship were compounded by non-availability of continuous deck. The patient was successfully airlifted from the bridge wing of the vessel & transported back to the air station by and subsequently shifted to hospital for further medical management. ICGS Samrat in area was also diverted to render assistance. The safe & timely evacuation of the patient was a result of joint operation coordinated by MRCC (MBI) with Indian Navy.
