Possibly, but it's not Poland's fault that Ukraine started this self-harming behaviour.
I don't know how it is in Germany, but Polish people don't pretend it's raining when somebody spits in our face.
It looks like Zelensky wants to become Germany's friend at the expense of Poland, as he believes that Germany is able to deliver more help than Poland in the long term. Of course, he's right, as Germany is much richer and doesn't take its defence seriously, spending 1.4% of its GDP on its defence unlike Poland that spends 3.9%. That's why it has some spare cash. In return, Zelensky started spamming everybody with his proposal that Germany should become a permanent member of the UN Security Council. So, the German government does not mind Poland being flooded with a cheap and low quality (as stated by
@Telmar ) Ukrainian grain.
Let me describe the chain of events that will follow if the EU is flooded with Ukrainian grain.
#sh1tholeCountries won't get Ukrainian grain => people will starve in these countries => more Third Worlders will invade the EU via the Mediterranean => people in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, etc. won't like it and a much bigger percentage of them will vote for far right parties => since many of these right wing parties are financed by RuZZia, RuZZian influence will increase in the EU exponentially => the EU will be in a deep sh1t and may disintegrate.
As a German, would you be comfortable with AfD becoming the most popular party in Germany? It is not so much far behind CDU/CSU right now.
As a German, would you be comfortable with an anti-German, anti-American, anti-EU, anti-Semitic and pro-Russian party gaining more influence in Poland that is one of your major trade partners? That's what would happen if PiS did not try to extend the ban on Ukrainian grain. However, we don't mind Ukraine transporting it to Germany via the Polish territory, so you could enjoy it.
Nobody can stop you from eating GMO Ukrainian grain that does not meet any EU criteria, and was allowed into the EU market purely out of pity, but let me make my own choice.
Here, you have a list of the top 10 companies that produce grain in Ukraine:
I believe Luxemburg is the richest EU country that has got a lot of spare cash, but it is still a net EU budget taker, so it can help solve this problem. Cyprus could think about it as well, as it stole a lot of money from its investors during the last crisis that almost made it bankrupt.
Do you know what the problem is? Zelensky tries different tricks, as he, despite being a very brave person, made very unrealistic promises to his people. His promises are just his private fantasies and wishful thinking, so the Ukrainians are more and more upset at him.
He truly believed Ukraine would be invited to join the NATO during the last summit in Vilnius. He has been trying to convince his people that Ukraine will take Crimea very soon and the Russian defence lines in Zaporizhya will collapse in no time. His fight against corruption is very ineffective and the Ukrainians see it. He got rid of many of his advisors, rightfully or not, and they give him a lot of sh1t on social media right now.
Regarding Poland, the latest survey says 72% of us are STILL interested in delivering aid to Ukraine, but the Ukrainian government may worsen this statistics soon if it carries on with its behaviour towards Poland.
