Very good point.

And really winter is over, Qatar should have LNG on the way, some pipelines may need to flow the other way, but stuff is doable for the very rich economies. Plenty of coal in different parts of europe, just need to help the market adjust. Will cost everyone a little, I think mostly worth it, and if we dont do it, will cost us all a great deal more, financially, morally, etc.

Azov have posted a lot of combat videos today and yesterday. Did they get resupplied with new cameras or batteries, or want to show one last brave face for the world?

Just to give you a rough idea of what the sanctions are for. Import rates before the sanctions were imposed, based on Russian sources:
- food machinery : 50%
- oil and heavy machinery: 60%
- electronics industry: 80-90%
- light industry: 70-90%
- pharmaceutical industry: 70-80%
- pharmaceuticals : 50%
of which:
- vehicle parts: 95%
- toys : 92%
- shoes: 87%
- telecommunications: 86%
- clothing: 82%
- other textiles: 73%
- perfume, cosmetics: 57%
- sports equipment: 48%
- household articles : 75%
- furniture : 40%
I've been saying for years, they have nothing of their own....

Claims are currently being made that Mariupol's harbor has been cleared by Russian forces.

I don't agree with this, yeah we took a hit after the banking crisis but I have no vendetta against Germoney for it, if you want to have a strong Euro you need a strong Germany and France, scuppering manufacturing is not helping Ukraine and certainly not helping EU.
In the short term it seems the only way we *eliminate* Russki gas is massive cuts to manufacturing? Am I right?
Longer term more green / Nuclear will fill a lot of holes, but we will always (?) need gas for steel treatments, glass production / recycling etc etc
I think we are getting hysterical (yes the deeper meaning of the word) looking at the tragedies unfolding.
Going to be tough times ahead, we'll need a Euro-trash prepper thread soon!

I think the only Chinese they need to know is "$10 sucky sucky" in Mandarin. Utter morons would think the Chinese would treat them like an equal.
Kind of ironic given the Russian treatment of populations they occupied during the USSR as sub-humans and now counting on China to bail them out. China treats everyone who is not an ethnic-Han Chinese as sub-human too.

Equal partnership for sure. Writing on the wall plain for all to see who are not a Russia fanbois ?

Multicam as well, probably supplied by the US.

Also, Zelensky's address to the Greek parliament received a rather "mixed" welcome:

*wait... Azov are neo-nazis?
Zelensky gets a standing ovation in parliament and shares a video to them of brave defenders which triggers much seething in oppostion party commies? Be still my beating heart! Making Ukraine Great Again.

There are alternatives to Russian energy. But Russian energy was easy and made the Russian and EU oligarchs MUCH richer, so......

Side note regarding the "for the children" written on the side of the Tochka-U. It appears to be a slogan widely used by Azov as early as 2016:

Unfortunately, the Greek Communist party is still a very vocal minority which feels mother Russia can do no wrong. A remnant of the vicious post war Greek Civil War. Read/watch the book/movie "Eleni" by Nicholas Gage for further reference. How anyone could be a Greek Communist, is beyond me - but there they are.

I dont think its that bad, still plenty of Nuke in France, and UK, usually their life can be extended by a year or 2. A good few coal stations, most not being used as they are dirty, plenty of coal around.

Solar is quick, China is turning out millions of panels, I've just seen my bill double, so Solar on a house is now a no brainer, 2 year payback, just need to give some simple incentive to get people to do it.

Yes there is a need for gas, but USA and Qatar have good supplies, biggest problem is that Germany didnt imagine this could ever happen, so has no terminals, which are needed to de-nazify sorry I mean de-liquify the LNG into 'gas'. I think the uk has 4 terminals.

are there any serial numbers on the rocket? it would seem like that would end the discussion one way or another.

That would, indeed, be very helpful.

Especially markings from the inner parts.

From the frontline in Mariupol. Two Ukrainian dead visible on 0:27. Ukrainian positions some 100 m away.

Is this true with cluster warhead also?
i've seen a lot of photos of tochka with the nose missing but the tail being fairly intact on the ground.
So are we asking Russia to check the serial, against their master list?.........
