As a poet and author, I teach lessons in creative writing. At the following page on the site are two poems:
One by Lord Tennyson (THE CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE)
The other by Rudyard Kipling (SNARLEYOW)

I tell my students that both poems predict war. The first one by Tennyson glorifies it while the one by Kipling, tells it as it is.
