Captain Cho Sang-ah, South Korea's first female Marine aviator
Captain Cho Sang-ah (27), commissioned in 2017 as a logistics officer, became the first female helicopter pilot of the ROKMC after applying for aviation training. She then completed 9 months of flight training and earned her wings.
She is now among the very few Marine aviators currently in service. CAPT. Cho is now assigned to 1st Marine Helicopter Squadron and flies the MUH-1 utility helicopter.
