What an utter travesty. We have that nonsensical clause in Germany as well, adults as old as 21 can be tried as juveniles if some shrink attests to their alleged immaturity. Absolutely laughable. Every fifthgrader knows you should not punch other people.

To be very clear, there has been a surge in violent crime in Europe, and it is clearly linked to migration (particularly from North Africa and the Middle East). Which is a shame. Nevertheless, it always amuses me to see Europe portrayed as inherently unsafe, even though crime rates here are the lowest in the world apart from Japan.
