after recent incident we can see that coast guard and fishery force worth every $$ spend on them ( but remember you also need a navy that can damage your enemy if they desire to used gun )

Vietnam bought the Hamilton, I thought the US donated it like they did for the Philippines?

None of those ships were donated, even the Philippines paid for the ships and its upgrades.

I would think that the spare parts of these devices are easily attainable, especially in countries where there was a manufacturing license for the aircraft or its components, on the other hand, we must also think about the cannibalization of devices to keep some in flight, the quantities of those helicopters must have been numerous.

Different boats cost differently depending on the retrofit that was done, im not sure but one of the ships was in such a bad state that it barely had an engine to use.

the huey are using Australian spare part and component aka legit part not some fake part or cannibalization and yes the Hamilton are bought not free , American only gift the metal shark patrol boat free and some scan eagle uav for free

well they are name after not only emperor but general,poet,... vv anyone that are great contribute to the country , from the look only 2000t and above war ship are giving name and special role ship like training sail ship , oceanic/hydro resreach ship ( I think the submarine rescue ship gona get a name too , have to wait until it launch ) , well during Vietnam war in the north we didn't have any big war ship so they didn't given name , but in the south they navy ship where giving name , after Vietnam war we get few of them ( majority flee to Philippine and the Philippines used all of them , some are still in service up to 2016s in the Philippines navy ( I think they still have 1 landing craft from the south Vietnam navy in service not sure ) only 2 landing craft and 1 war ship above 2000t so the navy didn't gift it name .

not japan that I know for sure , either Australia or America and the fleet was send to either Australia or America for major over hault back in late 2000s and I think it Australia if it back in the 2000s cause we have better relation with Australia back then then with the America ( I think even now day Vietnam and Australia have pretty good relation on military sphere compare to American , our UN detachment are send to south sudan by Australian C17 )

domestic built SAR vessel belong to the navy ( the design I think are buy from the Russian weight around 700t ) behind is a DK1 rig that are set up in the 80s to defend Vietnam eez ( the Chinese HD08 are near those dk1 rig , Vietnam have foreseen the problem since the 80s and prepare since then , the dk1 rig are near vung tau in southern part of Vietnam , no where near china

chemical troop win 3rd place in army game 2019 (first time they compete ) in china

gear/car/weapon are provide by china ( all compete country have to used provide gear from host country aka china ) compete in xin jiang china , it high up / dry / hot with newly weapon /gear not bad for a first time , only losing to china and Russia who have compete chemical game for few year , meanwhile in southern Vietnam eez water vietnam coastguard / VFS and china coastguard / explore ship are having water/speaker/raming 5 year annual game , china this year acting up againt spoking Vietnam / Malaysia / Philippine eez @@ with they survey / coastguard / navy
