photo taken during 1988-9 period the plane flew a lot to the spratly a lot to patrol and the plane in the photo are all retire and in scrap yard or statute at airbase dual to high used during the 80s-90s for patrol and droping bomb ( on Khmer rough 88-89 and later to support the Cambodian regime and maybe also supporting the Laotian govt in they fighting vs rebellion hmong who still was a threat and fluro insurgent in Vietnam who still fund by CIA up to 2000 @@ ( the plane are not used for coup or parade so look nice or not doesn't matter really ) in war period you don't paint your plane for look nice , you rather maintain the plane then care the look and it not rocket it a anti ship missile.
