Aleksiy Karlash call sign "Karlsson" succumbed to his wounds on June 23rd, 2019. He was heavily wounded on June 19th, 2019 slipped into a coma and passed away without regaining consciousnesses at Kharkiv Military Hospital.

Anatoliy Sorochinskiy forever 30 years old, from 24th Infantry Brigade was killed by anti-personnel mine on June 22nd, 2019.

Volodimyr Bondarenko forever 21 years of age. Machine Gunner from the 92nd Infantry Brigade was killed in a firefight with a Russian recon unit near Avdiivka on the evening of June 22nd, 2019

Books about the Ukrainian arms - is it interesting? The series of books, "Weapons of Ukraine." Total of 5 books: "Battle arsenal", "Gloss Steel" (of armor), "Power Shield" (anti-aircraft missile units), "Drones", "The lessons of the war" (war with Russia in the Donbas). Books in Russian. Author of the books are on facebook. I think at it can ask about these books and publications about the English language.

Huge, huge coup for "Azov". On June 23rd, "Azov" regiment units tracked down and destroyed Russian premier artillery command and control platform Zoopark-1. Rare as hens teeth in the Russian inventory the system is essentially undergoing field trials in Donbas.

ZPU-23 is now just an infantry weapon, just like other 14,5 mm weapons

Well, can still be used against slow moving low flying targets, such a helicoters and smaller UAVs.

This is just cheap propaganda material.
Where in this short, and lets be honest, weird video, vehicle is hit, or destroyed?

Shells fell far away from vehicle, if there is vehicle at all. Video is not complete just some short sequences, if they hit and destroy vehicle where is other parts of video? Why did they stop?

Why they didn't show next several seconds after smoke is cleared so that we could see if there are vehicle behind that smoke?

In one part vehicle is zoomed in (1:12) , then video is cut, then we have next sequence where zoom is out (1:14) then shell fall about 10-20m from "something" on the road, and then extremely fast zoom in again, so fast that we acctualy cannot see anything except of smoke but beneath smoke we cannot se vehicle even if we see parts of the road.

So even if they did shoot at Zoopark they have miss by nice margine and vehicle is not destroyed. That MT LB have armor, not very thick one true but they have armor intended to protect from arty splinters.

If they did destroyed Zoopark they would show full video not just some parts.

Sorry but they didn't post full video there, so nothing is changed regarding that. If they destroyed vehicle they would post whole video, with more shells falling around ( as this one shoved missed), with fire on vehicle and wreckage. All we have is one shell which miss them.

Photo that you have posted, is better, and it just confirm that vehicle wasn't hit or destroyed. 1 shell fell about 15 meters from vehicle (its front right part), and even more it fell not on road but beneath road on apparently very soft ground.

We do not know how they set fuse but if they were targeting armored vehicle most likely fuse was set to explode after some delay, which in this case could have consequences that shell dig deep in soft ground before explode, which mean that most explosive power were absorbed by ground.

Even more road is above level of surface where shell fell. So it is very likely that vehicle is in dead angle.

Even if vehicle is hit most splinters cannot pierce it from 15 meters and bad angle and splinters eventually hit front part of vehicle, which is better armed with about 10 mm of armor.

So yes cool post, azov did find and shoot at Zoopark. Nice fish they have shoot at, but they miss and this fish is still live and maybe have several scratches.
