In Colombia we had the opportunity to see "full house", the widower's series with his 3 young daughters who are helped by their two friends to raise them and their common situations; I was surprised on Netflix this weekend to find the series, again, but starring the girls, which is called "fuller house", now it is the oldest daughter the widow and it is her sister and her best friend who come to help her, the I recommend.

^^ Very much looking forward to that.

Also, let's all take a moment and thank whatever costume designer suggested Thandie Newton wear that white dress.

Let's be honest there for a moment about what we really want with the whole Thandie Newton and the dress situation. Any dress, in fact, or the lack thereof, to be more precise.

lolol That is a major rip off from every other sci fi orientated series and movie that dealt with the subject about Cyborgs and Replicants ..

It was like watching a completely different version of Battlestar Galactica ..

First episode and this is starting well, still a slow pace like its four other seasons, but a nice way to make me forget about The Witcher and other fairy tales nonsense Netflix has produced recently.

For those unware the Series Homeland was actually taken from the Idea of a person that jailed for fraud

He pitched the idea to people to invest in his company and he also falsely claimed he was working on 26 episodes of his new hit series ... DHS and a senator was also duped by him . In which he used his Goverment connections to get meetings so the scammer and could meet with noted Gov officials in order to make the series realistic as possible ..

Even though it was all one big lie by so called tv producer

Taking quarantine time to dig out my old blu-rays of Fringe. Always loved it but forgotten how good it was.

Always remembered the opening to series 2 was an absolute belter of a scene but was surprised to see a guest appearance by future royalty.

Yes, yes it does.... We started watching it again about six months ago and got distracted again by something else. Will probably start up again soon.

-------
Started watching Jack Taylor the other day, and I may have already mentioned Whitechapel.

Finished watching it and, I must say it is pretty good. Pretty pretty good.

Though I own Stålenhag's three books Tales from the Loop, Things from the Flood, The Electric State, I can't say that TV-show follows the story of Tales from the Loop. The reason being: the book is in Swedish and I don't speak Swedish.

None the less the style and atmosphere are both there. It is poetic, intriguing, surprising at times and makes you go "oh... I see" quite a few times.

A good show.

So far pretty effin' awesome. If you like the Alex Garland movies, you'll like this show.

What a really pleasant surprise. It's really, really good. Way better than ANY Star Wars movie. A Western set in Star Wars universe. Lot's of funny moments. Great character development. Really watchable. Exponentially better than I thought it would be.

Anybody doing The Plot Against America? Good show, didn't read the book but it looks like Jews are going into camps in 1941 America. 4 episodes in on HBO don't think many people are watching.

I like sharing shows that I actually enjoyed but for a proper « public announcement » don’t waste your time (even if you have extra time these days) watching the latest Netflix beer inspired crap fest « Brews Brothers »

Basically it’s comedy so I wasn’t expecting to be educated about beer and brewing, but comedy without humor and a sophomoric, idiotic tone is off putting. Lame.

I'm only 2 episodes in but show is quality.

I have to add my applause to this series. Definitely a high quality product. Recommended, especially in a sea of products about similar topics.
