Oil Refineries are very large and very difficult to inflict long-term damage on. They're reallistically only knocked out if Ukraine keeps visiting them repeatedly, every week or so.
Mmm, the bits of an oil refinery, don’t exactly grow on trees, if you hit a juicy bit, and it burns for a week, and you don’t have a spare( you don’t have a spare) then you will be waiting months for that part. You can keep the other parts running, but it’s going to hurt, and someone hitting the same bit, on all your refineries( most countries only have a few) will seriously piss you off.

Online sources show gasoline at .61 USD per liter as of yesterday. No mention if it's readily available - if not, black market prices could well be through the roof given how weak the Ruble is right now.

But trading a half dozen eggs could easily get you a full gas tank on your Lada or loaf! :pRuss:-Russ:-Russ:-

Footage of the attack of the Russian FPV drone "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky", controlled via fiber optic cable, on the Ukrainian FV105 Sultan command and staff vehicle. The second drone attacked a nearby M113 armored personnel carrier, apparently it came to help. The FV105 Sultan command and staff vehicle has been produced in the UK since 1978, with a total of 136 units produced. The FV105 Sultan hull contains up to 4 radio stations, a table for topographic maps and tablets, and additional batteries. The FV105 Sultan is armed with a 7.62 mm machine gun. The FV105 Sultan crew is up to six people. The Russian army also has captured FV105 Sultans. Judging by the video, the combat vehicles have already been abandoned by their crews. The video was filmed near the village of Petrovskoye on the Svatovo-Kremennaya front.

NATO's Deputy Assistant Secretary General, James Appathurai, has confirmed in a European Parliament hearing that Russian agents did try to kill Armin Papperger, CEO of Rheinmetall, in a bid to sabotage German military aid to Ukraine. (Source)
Let me guess, a mildly worded letter of disapproval and some sanctions against nobodies who can still enter the EU regardless thanks to their Cypriotic or Maltese passport to visit their children studying here at our expense? A tit for tat of expelling some embassy spooks after which the russians expel some diplomats from embassies in russia? A committee with a luxurious catering budget to monitor and discuss future hostile actions including visits to prostitutes being recuperable?

I think we are just letting it run. Ukraine is holding, bleeding russia dry, and it appears trump has allowed more targets, like oil and gas, for Ukraine to hit.

Presumably we want it to look like putin F***ed it up, rather than nato destroyed Russia.

I still think we need a plan for Russia’s collapse, but maybe we just pay Ukraine and Poland to take care of it all.

Allowing more targets is an improvement over Biden, which seemed to favour paralysis.
