Something that "puzzles" me though is the kind of dissonance, or discrepancy whatever fits the best, of the strikes carried out by Russia.
Or allegedly.
"Allegedly" because on the one hand we can clearly see them carrying pretty accurate strikes on strategic targets with very little collateral damage (ammo dumps, Kyiv TV tower, Regional military and police HQ and Azov HQ in Kharkov).
Yet, at the same time, we also see residential areas being hit, all things considered, seemingly randomly.
Which had me ask myself: could these hits (or some of them) on civilian infrastructures be caused by Ukraine, willingly or accidentally, for propaganda purposes?
One will surely remember that missile which, in the early days of the invasion, struck a civilian building. Blamed on the Russians first, it later turned out to be a Ukrainian AD missile that went astray.
Russian precision weapons, though not in great quantity and availability, are honoring their names with CEP of 7m and 3m for the two main ones (Iskander and Kalibr).
The Tochka-U (Scarab-B, 1989) on the other hand have a much greater CEP of 95m.
I am aware this sounds twisted, and would be if it was indeed the case, but from what I have been gathering days after days it became fairly apparent Ukraine was sending some pretty mixed signals.
