Sounds like a big Ruzzian push to surround Andiivka continues. As of an hour ago, they had taken a small village or two, but that was about it. I look for them to fail at this like they've failed at everything else. Orcs are pretty consistent that way.

Now there are multiple reports Orcs botched the big push and have suffered heavy losses. Imagine that.

They've launched countless nearly identical flanking attacks around Avdiivka for many months (over a year) and every last one of them were annihilated. Avdiivka sits on a ridge that dominates the surrounding countryside, especially the two areas where they are trying to push their pincers through. Only an idiot would attempt that attack at all, never mind more than once.

Fortunately the russians are idiots.

I saw videos of serveral russian soldiers advancing. No proper ukrainian response to them which got me surprise.
The Helis flying freely was also weird to see.

Footage has been published showing a Russian kamikaze drone “Lancet” destroying a Su-25 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force. This is the second case when a Lancet drone destroys a Ukrainian plane; we previously talked about it. The plane was again destroyed at the Krivoy Rog airfield Dolgintsevo, 70 kilometers from the front line, apparently the Russian army is using new modifications of drones. After the drone hit, a fire started in the Su-25 aircraft.

The US decision to step up military support for Israel after the surprise assault by Hamas will not harm Washington's ability to keep arming Ukraine, its NATO envoy said on Tuesday.

"On the question of whether or not US support for Israel could possibly come at the expense of US support for Ukraine -- we don't anticipate any major challenges in that regard," US ambassador Julianne Smith told journalists.

"I suspect the United States will be able to stay focused on our partnership and commitment to Israel's security while also meeting our commitments and promise to continue supporting Ukraine."
President Joe Biden ordered US ships and warplanes to move closer to Israel in a show of support on Sunday, while also sending fresh military aid.

The crisis in Israel comes as the White House is scrambling to find a way to keep weapon supplies flowing to Ukraine after turmoil in the US Congress.
Kyiv's international backers are meeting in Brussels on Wednesday to discuss arms deliveries, with a focus on keeping Ukraine's counter-offensive advancing and providing air defences to protect against a suspected winter onslaught by Russia.
"I anticipate that the emphasis will be mostly on air defence and ammunition, although no doubt the Ukrainians will come in with a variety of other requests," Smith said

The US should have ramped up production of certain types of ammunition over a year ago.

Even if you don't need it yourself or can't even store it, with the current security concerns and limited number of manufacturers there will always be buyers.
