He'll lose a limb or two, get shipped home and abandoned because he's become a burden, won't be able to find any work and die in a cardboard box with a bottle in hand.

But at least for now he's not drinking ... oh no wait this is the Russian army, so sobriety is optional.

I'm guessing a lot of these want to return to Russia eventually. A healthy percentage probably support the war, and celebrate its brutality but don't want to fight. Looks like there will be some degree of screening.
A nice way to avoid sanctions, an all-inclusive vacation to the land of morons.

Russia at this time putting a lot of energy and ressources to take Bakhmut but also to take back Kupiansk or essentially deny the Ukrainians presence on the other side of the Oskil river.

Ukrainians doing better a little more south and bypassed Lyman with the expectation of the Russians pulling back.

The only good thing coming from the weaponizing of drones is that I think it's going to put a strong "anti-drone" sentiment into the average joe tolerating them flying Amazon orders of gummi bears and tampons over their suburban backyards.
They have no choice but to be tolerant of them, US Law states you do not own the airspace above your property!

Came across this video showing the battle for Mariuopol from a Russian perspective so expect some bias. It is interesting to see the gear used by Russian soldiers and tactics…. Strangely this reminds me of Fallujah.

A lot of it looks staged.

The tweet was talking about use against "USAF, USMC or US Army airbase or heliport, not Ukraine ..."

It is referring to the Ukraine attacks when suggesting US bases were vulnerable because of the results. Guess we kinda talked past eachother. I do principaly agree with what you suggest. Just not the tweet, for mentioned reasons, including your point about professionalism, which is also a very valid one imo too.
