USS Nimitz (CVN 68), with her full air wing, at sea near the Persian Gulf, October 12, 1997. The carrier would operate in the Gulf to enforce United Nations sanctions against Iraq by patrolling the "No-Fly" zone during Operation Southern Watch. The Nimitz Battle Group was directed to the Gulf early by the Secretary of Defense after Iraqi planes breached the zone several times in the previous week.
Russia:

Launched in 1985, becoming fully operational in the navy in 1995. The initial name of the ship was Riga; it was launched as Leonid Brezhnev, embarked on sea trials as Tbilisi, and finally named Admiral Flota Sovetskogo Soyuza Kuznetsov
RN:
King George V-class battleship HMS Howe manoeuvres off Okinawa with her main armament assuming firing position, aimed at Japanese targets on the island. She was attached to Task Force 113 supporting the US landings.

USN:
Brigantine-rigged gunboat USS Bancroft circa 1883. She saw active service in the Spanish-American war, later as the revenue cutter USRC Itasca, and finally as USCGC Itasca in WWI.
Australia:
HMAS Parramatta (FFH 154) begins her Anzac Midlife Capability Assurance Program (AMCAP) upgrades. HMAS Stuart (FFH 153) and HMAS Ballarat (FFH 155) are in different stages of the upgrade. Nov 1, 2022. HMAS Parramatta is the last Anzac Class Ship to complete the AMCAP upgrade.
RN:
HMS Medway (P223) and RFA Tideforce (A139) visit Florida. Burke spotters will note that USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) has received a SPQ-9B radar during her Depot Modernization Period.

Canada:

U-119, a Type XB minelayer on her first patrol, which doubled as transfer from Germany to France. These were massive submarines for WWII at 2,710 tons submerged, necessary for the 30 mine tubes that carried 66 large SMA moored mines, but also had two torpedo tubes and 7 torpedoes internally. These were often used to resupply other submarines like the more well known Type XIVs, and the eight external torpedoes were, according to the manual, “designated for transfer to other boats”. The note on uboat.net reads:
2 Mar 1943: HMCS Assiniboine (Cdr. K.F. Adams, RCN) was damaged by her own depth charges when she tried to attack German U-boat U-119 in the middle of the North Atlantic. She proceeded to Liverpool, U.K. for repairs (arrived there on 7 March) and was out of action for nearly three months.
Spain: Don Juan de Austria, an unprotected cruiser that was sunk and salvaged at the Battle of Manila Bay. Reinstated with the U.S. Navy, eventually serving for 10 years as a training ship out of Detroit
