A Lebanese military tribunal has formally accused five members of Hezbollah and the Amal Movement of killing an Irish UNIFIL soldier in 2022, a senior Lebanese judicial source has said.

Like me he had over 21 years service in the Irish Army and did 2 tours back to back with UNIFIL in South Lebanon.

That's ace. Out of curiosity, is there any reason why the ceremony was in London rather than Dublin? Or was a it a general ceremony and he was there?

The Association was set up for Irish UN veterans living in the UK, however, they do have British members. My brother was living in the UK post Irish Defence Force service for well over two decades.
