Indian Navy's indigenously designed and built Guided Missile Stealth Frigate INS Sahyadri, mission deployed in the IOR is in Colombo, Sri Lanka for a three-day visit. Engagements include professional interactions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and joint activities to enhance operational synergy between the two maritime forces.
The PASSEX was conducted while INS Tarkash was mission deployed for participating in the New Zealand led CTF 150 Joint Focused Operation ANZAC Tiger from 27 Mar 25 to 04 Apr 25. The exercise provided an opportunity to exchange Best Practices and further enhance bilateral maritime Interoperability.
INS Tarkash undertook a PASSEX with NZ Navy ship HMNZS Te Kaha on 04 Apr 25. This Bridges of Friendship exercise included cross-boarding, Sea Rider exchange, tactical manoeuvres and validating communication procedures.
