Indian Navy's Mission deployed stealth frigate INS Trikand provided critical medical assistance to an injured Pakistani (Baloch) crew member aboard the FV Abdul Rehman Hanzia in the mid Arabian Sea. The ship's Medical Officer performed intricate surgery at sea for over three hours and successfully suturing three severely mutilated fingers of the injured, thereby preventing permanent loss of fingers. The ship also provided extra medical supplies to the FV for sustenance until it reaches Iran.
The Indian Army’s Amphibious Warriors are carrying out joint humanitarian and disaster relief (HADR) exercises on both the eastern and western coasts. AIKEYME 25 Sea Phase
INS Chennai and INS Kesari successfully conducted maneuvering exercise and Visit Board Search & Seizure drills. The MARCOS team along with TPDF and the Kenyan special forces onboard INS Chennai engaged in joint training exercises, allowing both teams to refine their drills and enhance their operational effectiveness. This collaboration exemplifies the spirit of jointness and strengthens India's strategic partnerships.
IOS SAGAR entered Nacala, Mozambique on 17 Apr 25 towards enhancement of Maritime Partnership and cooperation between both the Navies. The ship has embarked 44 naval personnel from 09 friendly foreign navies of the SW IOR. The visit reaffirms India’s commitment to cooperative engagement and growth of all in the region.

The Biennial Joint Ex SURAKSHA 2025 was conducted at Birpur, Dehradun, bringing together the expertise of Golden Key Sappers, Sabse Aage Brigade and other stakeholders.
