^^ The question has to be asked "why would you bother to arm this bird?"
No protection at all for the crew or the airframe or engines, any return fire is going to hit something vital

I have no Idea too, however it would be more like arm scout? But don't know where it will be used, the only advantage of the helicopter is that it can be used at very high altitude and also it is almost at the end of service life and will be phasing out in next 10 years imho. It would be more like concept and Army was heh will keep it since the Airforce got the armed helicopter we might have some of our own too. ( Army wasn't allowed to have armed helicopter before iirc).
the really interesting thing is that they are still operational in combat missions!
I have a question some time ago, to which you can attribute that only in India operate without setbacks the Dhruv in all its versions and in Ecuador were written off in its basic version without pain or glory?

Well, the Dhruv wasn't with a setback with India as well, few were lost with souls too. Dhruv is one of the few Indian made which is doing well, Dhruv has been exported to elsewhere and it is doing well and no accident reported as of now? Regarding Ecuador, it can't be blamed everything on the helicopter as well, their initial lost were due to pilot errors and others maybe technical problems and this problems could be exacerbated by the fact that helicopter is brought from more than halfway around the world and routine maintenance must be problems. Imho problems are from both sides, Indian no proper facilities in SA and check and Ecuador buying a helicopter from a new vendor making helicopter for the first time.
