To commemorate the occasion of 56th #Rezangla Day celebrations and to acknowledge the sacrifices made by our valiant Soldiers during 1962 War, Rezangla Day was celebrated by Chushul Brigade. War veterans, Veer Naris and ex servicemen were felicitated.

An interesting mix of East and West...Indian Navy special forces (MARCOS) in Kashmir, with Russian style jackets and AKs resembling gear of Russian troops in Crimea, but with Western ACH-pattern helmets and MARPAT camo

And in contrast, the boat operator has UCP-inspired camo and an older Russian-style helmet, and MARPAT pants. While one of the guys with the AKs has SURPAT pants (a Russian camo). A virtual mish-mash.

I found this pic of yesterday's downed IAF Mig-21interesting. Look at how the front fuselage simply collapsed like a cardboard roll.

Pakistan Prime Minister Calls for Talks With India After Jets Shot Down

Honestly, I think it's just downright criminal to send an aircraft like MiF-21 into a combat zone under the circumstances. Especially since India is certainly not lacking in modern equipment.
