The 9th edition of Joint Military Exercise Mitra Shakti between India & Sri Lanka culminated with the validation training in Pune. The exercise facilitated synergy in the conduct of joint tactical operations and strengthened the understanding & interoperability between the two Armed Forces.

Indian Coast Guard Ship Savitribai Phule located and provided Technical assistance to Indian Fishing Boat (IFB) Christo Rei (IND-GA-01-MM-2233) stranded off Belekeri, Karnataka due to Gearbox breakdown. IFB was escorted safely to Karwar ensuring the safety of 27 crew members.
