Enhancing India-Bangladesh Maritime cooperation. Ships & MPAs of Indian Navy & Bangladesh Navy participated in the 4th Edition of Bilateral Maritime Exercise Ex Bongosagar & also undertook Coordinated Patrol CORPAT, in North Bay of Bengal 07 - 09 Nov 23. INS Kuthar, INS Kiltan & Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) Dornier participated along with BNS Abu Bakr, BNS Abu Ubaidah & MPA Maiden HADR drills conducted b/n the two navies wherein a Search and Rescue SAR scenario at sea was exercised Interoperability.

Indian Navy's Mobile Training Team (MTT) of Marine Commandos MARCOs & Divers have commenced the 14th edition of Special Forces & Diving Refresher Camp for the Mauritius Police Force at Port Louis, Mauritius.

The training Camp is conducted annually & is customised to enhance interoperability between Armed Forces of India & Mauritius. The training is aimed towards enhancing capability to undertake Maritime Special Operations & Salvage Operations at Sea.

In a quick medevac response, on 07 Nov 23 one ALH MK III helicopter from Air force Station Tezpur evacuated a critically ill patient from Vijaynagar ALG suffering from hematemesis/melena. Due to lack of medical facilities and connectivity at Vijaynagar the medevac by helicopter proved to be lifesaving.

INS Delhi, the first ship of the indigenously designed and built Project 15 class guided missile destroyers of the #IndianNavy, completes 26 years of glorious service to the nation.

Built by Mazagon Dock Ltd, the ship was commissioned into the Indian Navy on 15 Nov 1997. The ship is capable of fighting in all three dimensions and is equipped with state-of-the-art anti-air, anti-submarine and anti-ship weapons and sensors.

The IAF has continued with its operations to assist the ongoing tunnel rescue underway at Dharasu, Uttarakhand. An IAF C-17 has been deployed to airlift almost 22 Tonnes of critical equipment from Indore to Dehradun.

Drilling equipment was urgently needed to rescue construction workers stuck due to a tunnel collapse on the ongoing project near Dharasu, Uttarakhand. Landing expeditiously today afternoon, the IAF, utilising its C-130J aircraft, has now airlifted the drilling equipment weighing almost seven tonnes to Maa Ganga airport near the site. Another aircraft carrying almost twelve tonnes of critical equipment has got airborne from Delhi as well.
