INS Shardul and the Long Range Maritime Surveillance P8I aircraft arrived in Bali, Indonesia

to participate in the Indonesian Navy International Fleet Review (IFR) 2025, a prestigious multinational naval event being reviewed by the Hon'ble President of Indonesia.
Following IFR 25, the Indian Navy platforms will also participate in Ex Komodo, a multilateral naval exercise aimed at enhancing maritime Interoperability and regional security cooperation. Indian Navy's regular participation reaffirms India's commitment to engage with regional Navies.
INS Shardul represented Indian Navy at the International Fleet Review held at Benoa port anchorage, Bali, Indonesia on 16 Feb 25. Participation of the Indian Navy in the IFR 2025, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Indonesian Navy, marks enhanced maritime cooperation & broader engagement with global Naval forces. A testament to our commitment to maritime partnership for peace & stability.
On completion of International Fleet Review 2025, INS Shardul entered port of Bali, Indonesia. The ship is participating in the 5th edition of Multilateral Naval Exercise (MNEK) KOMODO 2025. The crew took part in various activities of the Exercise including representing the Indian Navy at the International Maritime Security Symposium. Strengthening maritime cooperation through shared resolve and increased collaboration with regional Navies.
