As part of the ongoing Operation Dost, the IAF has been transporting relief material, critical life saving equipment & personnel to Türkiye & Syria. So far, six aircraft have undertaken these round the clock life-saving missions.

The Field Hospital being set up at Iskenderun, Hatay province.
India dispatches an Indian Army field hospital to Türkiye to establish a 30 bedded medical facility. Its first component has left on
IAF C17 with a 45 member medical team, including critical care specialists & surgeons. Also has X-ray machine, ventilators, OT & other equipment.
The fourth IAF aircraft leaves for Türkiye with the remaining component of the field hospital. This includes 54 members of the Indian Army medical team as well as medical and other equipment to establish the facility.

19 Passengers were airlifted from Padam valley and 11 passengers from Leh to Padam today in an Mi-17 helicopter of Indian Air Force. The aim of this service is to connect far flung areas of Ladakh to Leh during harsh winters.
Today, IAF airlifted 594 Ladakhi passengers, stranded in Jammu & Chandigarh, in three IL-76 aircraft sorties. The passengers were taken to Leh & Thoise.

The Indian Army medical team deployed under Operation Dost in Türkiye touches down in India. The 99-member self-contained team successfully set up and ran a fully equipped 30-bedded Field Hospital in Iskenderun, Hatay, attending to nearly 4000 patients round the clock.
