General Manoj Pande COAS visited forward areas of Southern Command in Jodhpur & Jaisalmer to review the operational preparedness. COAS interacted with officers & troops and appreciated the readiness of Southern Command to meet contemporary & future challenges.

India dispatches an Indian Army field hospital to Türkiye to establish a 30 bedded medical facility. Its first component has left on
IAF C17 with a 45 member medical team, including critical care specialists & surgeons. Also has X-ray machine, ventilators, OT & other equipment.

The fourth IAF aircraft leaves for Türkiye with the remaining component of the field hospital. This includes 54 members of the Indian Army medical team as well as medical and other equipment to establish the facility.

Vajra Corps Golden Arrow Division carried out multiple air support validations with helicopters under simulated battle field conditions. Day & night trial landings, underslung carriage of equipment, casualty evacuation & special heliborne operations were practiced.

The contingent of Indian Army arrived in Japan to take part in Joint Military Exercise Dharma Guardian with Japanese Ground Self Defence Forces JGSDF commencing at Aibano Manoeuvre Area, Japan.

The 4th Edition of Joint Military Exercise Dharma Guardian commenced today at Camp Imazu, Japan. During the 14 day training, troops from both Armies will share their expertise & experiences in Counter Terrorism operations in urban terrain.

An IAF contingent has arrived in UAE to participate in the multilateral exercise, Exercise Desert Flag. The exercise will be conducted till 17 Mar 23, with the IAF participating with five LCA Tejas and two C-17 aircraft.

19 Passengers were airlifted from Padam valley and 11 passengers from Leh to Padam today in an Mi-17 helicopter of Indian Air Force. The aim of this service is to connect far flung areas of Ladakh to Leh during harsh winters.

Today, IAF airlifted 594 Ladakhi passengers, stranded in Jammu & Chandigarh, in three IL-76 aircraft sorties. The passengers were taken to Leh & Thoise.

The troops of Indian Army & Japanese Ground Self Defence Forces JGSDF shared their experience & expertise in sub-conventional operations and unarmed combat techniques during the ongoing joint training Dharma Guardian.

Training in Advanced Mountaineering and Winter Survival Techniques is being conducted by Indian Mobile Training Team for Kyrgyz Armed Forces in Balykchy, Kyrgyz Republic.

The Indian Army medical team deployed under Operation Dost in Türkiye touches down in India. The 99-member self-contained team successfully set up and ran a fully equipped 30-bedded Field Hospital in Iskenderun, Hatay, attending to nearly 4000 patients round the clock.
