On Jan 10, JASDF splendidly welcomed SU30MKI IAF (Indian Air Force) at Hyakuri Air Base. JASDF and IAF will conduct the first JPN-IND bilateral fighter exercise Veer Guardian in JPN. JASDF will continue promoting JPN-IND Defense Cooperation to uphold and reinforce FOIP .

On the sidelines of the ongoing bilateral exercise, Shri Sibi George, Indian Ambassador to Japan paid a visit to the IAF contingent. He was given an overview of the Exercise, followed by an interaction with the team members.

The maiden Joint Exercise ‘CYCLONE – I’ between Special Forces of Indian Army and Egypt Army commenced in Rajasthan with focus on sharing professional skills and experiences on Special Forces Operations.

IAF participated in a bilateral exercise with the French Naval Carrier Strike Group Charles De Gaulle off the western coast near Bombay High. While IAF participated with Su-30MKI, AWACS & IL-78 AAR Tanker, the French navy participated with Rafale M & an E2C Hawkeye.

While Air Marshal Sinha was familiarised with the Japanese F2 'Viper Zero', Gen Izutsu was acquainted with the IAF's Su-30 MKI.

Based on interception of a suspicious boat off Barren Island by alert Indian Coast Guard (ICG Ship), a Joint Search Operation was launched. Ghatak Teams of Army comprising (1 Officer, 1 JCO & 21 OR) with 5 representatives of Indian Reserve Battalion (IRBn) arrested 7 foreign poachers swiftly in difficult terrain within 24hrs.

Special Forces troops of Indian Army & Egypt Army exercised Special Heliborne Operations during the ongoing joint exercise at Jaisalmer.

The joint exercise between Indian Army & Egyptian Army culminated after an intense validation training. The exercise was successful in sharing best practices between Special Forces of both the Nations.
