Question? Help identifying location/Regiment

Hello all,
I have a picture of my grandpa in the suez crisis on a daimler dingo armoured car. i can make out some markings but unable to find information regarding location or regiment and things like that. i wondered would anyone be able to help? any help at all would be so greatly appreciated

Do you have any history of what units your grandfather was in? That will give an idea of where to look

I dont im very sorry, i just know he was stationed in egypt during this time. i just wondered if from the markings on the scout car if it was identifiable. not to worry if not

The "40" means it's a divisional HQ signals vehicle from Royal Corps of Signals but not known which division just yet......I'll keep looking.

From what I see in the background . It was taken here in the Uk ?? . Or at alocation in Mainland Europe ...
