If the limited strikes were "it" and they want to have the last word in then they might be opening up the target list a lot further.

Depending on whether or not Joe can stop crapping himself long enough to dare to ok that, if his handlers will allow it.

It's not really a report though is it, it doesn't cite any sources. There's absolutely nothing in any media outlet I can see that mentions this, so I assume he saw it in another Twitter post and took it as gospel...

Whenever someone posts a claim on Twitter, I always double check media, that way I can tell what is fake news or not.
He's fairly accurate on military reporting.

He's fairly accurate on military reporting.

Perhaps for Ukraine he is, but not here. We was saying in the comments that it was over and pushing back at those that said otherwise, yet he was simply wrong because this will continue for several hours yet. Again, if someone makes such an extraordinary claim like that, there should be a source or more. It's pretty clear the Irainians got caught with their pants down, how much embarrassment that causes them still remains to be seen...

The strikes are apparently now over. I've heard the Shahr ballistic missile factory has been wiped out but can't confirm it properly so take with salt. No other information regarding damage sustained is available as of yet...

It's as has been stated... they're clearing out areas North of the Galailee to prevent any chance of Hezbollah being able to mount an armed attack on Israel. So destroying tunnels, siezing/eliminating weapons placements, equipment, collecting intel etc. Removing their ability to conduct rocket fire into Israel is also one of those key goals. They want to force Hezbollah Northwards in an effort to get them to agree to a ceasefire and move their forces back over the Litani river which sees proper implementation of 1701. Ultimately the conditions created should allow the tens of thousands of people displaced to return to their homes (and Lebanese villagers too).

yeah but at what price. alot of israeli young men are losing their lives

Saudi's expresses their condemnation and denunciation of the military targeting of iran, which is a violation of its sovereignty and a violation of international laws and norms. ksa affirms its firm position in its rejection of the continued escalation in the region and the expansion of the conflict that threatens the security and stability of the countries and peoples of the region.

A few thoughts.
1. Optics. No fireworks to speak of. The attack looks underwhelming, especially comparing highly photogenic Iranian missiles (and their flaming fragments) raining on Israel. I wish our leadership kept the rhetoric prior to the attack on smaller flames, because the optics right now is not in Israel favor, which is important.
3. Actual damage. Israel most certainly used the opportunity to defang IRGC to a serious extent - probably (as some unverified reports suggest) hitting both missile and drone factories, and air defense infrastructure. Possibly with contingency in mind to prepare ground for a home run against the nuclear sites in the future (if Trumps gets elected etc.). When quality OSINT starts coming out, we'll have a better idea. Although I do wonder, if the nuclear site got actually hit, how it's possible to know in principle from OSINT.
3. Rationale. Cause maximum damage with minimum optics - to stay under the threshold of public humiliation, which otherwise would necessitate a yet another retaliation. This is due to combination of Biden's admin pressure and possibly other considerations, e.g. the the Israel air defense ammo stock depletion and the necessity to focus on the already two fronts ground war.

All... for now.
I figure this strike had a specific meaning, like maybe wait until they bring their aircraft back to their bases then hit them with a surprise attack again knowing they had been moved. Destroying their air forces pretty much dig a deep hole for Iran. Their air defense was already mentioned in this thread as pretty gutless.
