The Trophy system does its job, IDF reported many intercepts since ground invasion. I can't imagine what our losses would be right now without it. There was one instance in the first or second day of invasion, when IDF reported that Trophy failed. It resulted in death of about 10 soldiers inside Namer - the single biggest IDF loss so far. Back then they mentioned "unusual circumstances", which are being investigated. This does seem to be a freak accident, since even if Namer is penetrated by RPG, it still unlikely to end with death of the entire crew.

if i recall correctly,i read somewhere the the moment the soldiers opened the door to go out they were hit by an rpg, some say it was an explosive drone that came down the hatch... again no legit sources ... it was some chatter here and there

Impressive. I wonder if those cope cages would impede APS function, tank that was attacked didn't have one

Ben Shapiro speaking at the Oxford Union about the Israel-Palestine conflict (and other stuff as well but it's mostly the former), first answering questions from the union president and then members of the audience. Surprised he didn't know what the "Great March of Return" was, but I suppose he didn't realise she was refering to the Hamas sponsored attacks on the border fence with molotovs and incendiary kites which were far from peaceful. Ben generally knows his stuff well when it comes to this subject, and rightfully puts them all in their place. It's really quite eye opening to see how many students consider the "occupation" to be all of the former Palestine region, though I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I wonder how many of the people in these weekend protests actually support a two state solution, rather than a second "final solution"...

The first video is age restricted because he shows a photo of a dead baby and Shani Louk on the back of the truck. Oxford blocked embedding for the videos, so you have to watch them on the site. Worth a watch imo.
When you're invited to speak at the Oxford Union and have to wear a stab-proof vest underneath your shirt.

He made some good points, to bad that majority of the people asking the questions were assholes.

What Oxford Union organized is basically an event giving students an opportunity to have Shapiro go through a struggle session.

These kids are clueless, disingenuous and profoundly uneducated.

But it's okay, because they have been indoctrinated to believe they are right; and the echo chamber they live in in strengthening that perception of theirs.

I really really want to know if the people of gaza still support what hamas did and if they still approve of them being the ones running the gaza district after all whats happening.
I want to know if the gazans understand that all this death and destruction was caused by hamas. If the general consensus is yes, then theres no hope for the gazans .... better nuke that place

But harsh? People there are suffering from lack of education and fanatical brainwashing. Most Gazans don’t know much about Israel apart what they were told to. They think there are only 60k Jews in total… (don’t ask)

It could be solved by moderates in power, but Hamas hates competition

Hamas is the people of Gaza. Any difference between them is purely academic, or for legal purposes, e.g. whom you are allowed to target during armed conflict. The atrocities of 7/10 were committed with mass participation of the Gaza citizens, their total approval followed by jubilant crowd celebrations.
I'm sorry to say this, but the only thing, which can possibly dissuade the people of Gaza from supporting Hamas in the future is to come to their homes with such a wrath-of-god-like fire power and to cause Hamas such a public humiliation, that the mere memory of them will make people nauseous and weak in their knees. The Middle East rules.

Active hamas could be 50k-100k, men. Israel is going to kill/capture a lot of these.

Rest of world needs to ban hamas, and send their leaders to The Hague.

I think Egypt should build a temporary city, in Sinai. Identify everyone, dna etc. total search of everything for weapons etc. they sign an agreement to behave. They get 2 years of training, healthcare etc. you dont behave, 5 years in prison.

Rebuild Gaza, with seismic sensors, buy a citizen monitoring system from China. Recruit Gurkhas from Nepal/India and U.K., to make a police service. Buffer zones manned by un etc.

Build some factories, but with limited military use, I.e. plastic sun loungers, solar panels etc.

Too complicated. They need to be resettled in Qatar. They'll fit in there with no trouble, since the Hamas leaders seem to already have scouted it out for them. Plus.....the billions of dollars that the world has given Gaza, is mostly parked there too. Perfect!

Erdo can also lend a hand. He seems to profess his love for Hamas continuously.

yep , i totally agree.... and thats what israel is doing ... not just to teach hamas a lesson... its a huge warning to hezbola..... like this X1000 is whats going to happen to you if you attack us... and to anyone who dares to think of doing so .

tbh ,that part of the world "huge chunk of it "|needs to see this , understand ,that the ideology of war, killing, murder, pure hate is something of the past.....

hopefully hamas, hezbola and their axis gets eradicated for good and asap .... how , i dont know.. but i hope it happens soon , cause alot of kids are dieing for these iranian fanatic monsters

lack of education doesnt effect common sense .... killing children is wrong.... whether they are uneducated or not

Why would/should Israel capture them though?

To put them in prison?

For what purpose? What would they do there? And for how long? As soon as they would be released they would go back to being what they were prior to being captured.

The Hague, Courts, Rule of Law, Human Rights, etc... all of this mean nothing to them.

I think already they capture some, even on 7 Oct. It does show Israel follows the rules of war. And killing people is probably actually hard work, even the nazis understood that shooting one after the other, was tough, hence the industrialisation of it.

The Hague, well it means something to a lot of the west, and a life sentence can be used. That way we can legitimately claim to be better than the savages.

In reality, no-one can Nuke Gaza, nor murder 2M people. Need to find another route. I appreciate that maybe what Putin thinks he can do in Ukraine....

As with so many crimes, prison only warehouses perpetrators. As for Hamas and their followers' rehabilitation, I don't see it working. Wanton killing seems to be hardwired into their DNA. Unfortunately, they respect only main force. Apply that to terrorists with extreme prejudice, and let God sort them after the fact.
