TEHRAN, Oct. 31 (MNA) – The Yemeni armed forces have confirmed media reports about their attack on positions of the Zionist Israeli regime amid its aggression on Gaza Strip, vowing to continue their missile and drone attacks. General Yahya Saree, the spokesman of the Yemeni armed forces said in a statement in the capital Sana'a on Tuesday that, "We launched a large number of ballistic and cruise missiles and a large number of drones at various targets of the Zionist enemy in the Palestine Occupied Territories." "We emphasize that this operation is the third operation in support of our oppressed brothers in Palestine." The spokesman of Yemeni armed forces further vowed they would continue with more precise attacks with missiles and drones unless the aggression of the Israeli regime stops. "The position of our Yemeni people towards the cause of Palestine is fixed and principled, and the Palestinian people have the full right to defend themselves and use their full rights," Saree added. He went on to note that, "The Gaza invasion is carried out with the support of the United States and the involvement of some regimes." "Our forces performed their duty in supporting Gaza and fired ballistic and cruise missiles at enemy targets in the Occupied Territories," he further said. MNA

Why not, is there a time limit on commenting on articles posted here? not all of us are in the same time zone, and if shows how fvcked up the former USSR is where a mob can take over an airport in most civilized countries in the world a fairly secure location then if people want to comment about the newest Thirld World country on the planet, in Europe, so be it.
I think I didn't articulate myself so well in that post. What I meant was people were posting the same footage that was already posted a day before, which isn't very helpful to the discussion since you can just see the original posts as it happened, like no need to post the same footage of the guy looking in the engine four times. I just feel like it benefits this thread to keep the news current, because this conflict is only getting started and lots of things will likely happen quickly. How many different events have occured rapidly in quick succession in the Ukraine war? That's what I mean. Of course everyone is free to post what they like, this is more a recommendation for good information flow mil-smile09

To be clear what happened in Dagestan is worrying, but not that surprising considering how problematic islamist doctrine is there, remember Russia was fighting a long insurgency in the area and Chechnya following the end of the second regional conflict as Ivan pointed out. How a mob like that could bypass security is pretty crazy, hopefully once the airport reopens on November 3rd, they'll have added extra bodies. Seems telegram played a large part in this, specifically a channel that advocates for an independent Islamic Dagestan supported by an anti-Putin MP.

Here's a new article about the incident, specifically looking at how social media influenced the mob:

Could you elaborate your claim? The number of people, equipment and resources is nowhere close to these numbers used during the RuZZian invasion of Ukraine.
Hamas is a dwarf compared to Hezbollah, so your claim is totally unrealistic, as Israel waged a bigger war in 2006.

how is comparing russia/ukraine to israel/palestine war a thing? for one nazi russia are dumb on every single front and two ... yaa theres no two.
with the ukraine vs russia .... its a war of attrition .... the west dont want to defeat russia..... they just want to put them in thier place...they"allies" already showed the world how weak russia is .

as for israel /hamas war...in 2006 israel was going for an eye cut with hizbolla.... with hamas its a lobotomy..a battle of existence..... the offensive hammas did on the 7th delivered the biggest blow to the israelies since the inception of the israeli state ...hamas literally broke them ..do you know on the 7th if hezbola pushed .... and syria pushed with hamas ...things wouldve gone very very different "in a bad way"

anyway if israel donot take out hamas this time .....prove to their enemies that you DONOT F*CK with israel.. not a single arab country around israel will sit aside ...they will all start relastically thinking of a bigger 7th of october ...... if israel do no retaliate with violence and savagery their existence will be at stake

and if you think israel now didnt use on hamas 10 folds the amount of ordnance used on hizbola in 2006 ... then you have to recheck your info

They seem to be in the containment mode:

But to be honest, at this point it's either that or just a ruse before next surprise. I don't think anyone's buying into them being quiet.
Appeasement didnt work for WW2 - it did buy some countries, like UK time to re-arm. Clearly appeasement/engagement didnt work with Putin/Russia, and I cant see how the nuclear monitoring or whatever has helped regarding Iran.

We literally and by example have countries, and people/religions stating they are going to destroy Israel and then Europe, and then USA. I dont see how turning the other cheek, or its just internal politics, or we are racist, can now be continued.

Iran seemed to shut up when 2 carriers arrived in the med, maybe a bit more big stick from the west might be needed.

An angry mob gathered, yelling Allah Akbar and waving Palestinian flags.
National Guard and FSB got deployed and removed them, Israelis and Jews are safe an unharmed.

The even has been dealt with swiftly and is now over.

Investigation is on the way. In the meantime there is nothing new, nor relevant to the current situation between Israel and Palestine.

Dagestan is a region famous for the amount of counter-terrorism activities conducted there by the FSB against Islamic terrorist cells, spill overs from the Chechnya war of 2009.
So, for that region to harbor strong antisemitism sentiment isn't a surprise.

But since it occurred there, there has been a narrative line starting to raise its ugly head about "look! Russia is doing pogroms again!". (though Dagestan isn't Russia, but eh... details...)

Meanwhile all over Europe, the US and Canada there are humongous crowds of tens of thousands of people, gathered to cheer for Palestine and Hamas; you have universities praising and condoning Hamas; political figures praising and condoning Hamas; etc... Which is nothing short of another opportunity for the dormant western antisemitism, coming mostly from the Left and various Arab diaspora, to publicly display their hatred for Jews and Israel.

Such as that one:

After the incident in Dagestan over 550 muslim protesters have been arrested, for storming the airport "searching out jews", and now face from 5 to 15 years in prison each.

One could only hope all of these morons would be dealt with the same way the FSB dealt with the rioters in Dagestan.

pretty sure Israel can spare a traffic warden or 2 to deal with this.
