An angry mob gathered, yelling Allah Akbar and waving Palestinian flags.
National Guard and FSB got deployed and removed them, Israelis and Jews are safe an unharmed.
The even has been dealt with swiftly and is now over.
Investigation is on the way. In the meantime there is nothing new, nor relevant to the current situation between Israel and Palestine.
Dagestan is a region famous for the amount of counter-terrorism activities conducted there by the FSB against Islamic terrorist cells, spill overs from the Chechnya war of 2009.
So, for that region to harbor strong antisemitism sentiment isn't a surprise.
But since it occurred there, there has been a narrative line starting to raise its ugly head about "look! Russia is doing pogroms again!". (though Dagestan isn't Russia, but eh... details...)
Meanwhile all over Europe, the US and Canada there are humongous crowds of tens of thousands of people, gathered to cheer for Palestine and Hamas; you have universities praising and condoning Hamas; political figures praising and condoning Hamas; etc... Which is nothing short of another opportunity for the dormant western antisemitism, coming mostly from the Left and various Arab diaspora, to publicly display their hatred for Jews and Israel.
Such as that one:
Or these ones:
After the incident in Dagestan over 550 muslim protesters have been arrested, for storming the airport "searching out jews", and now face from 5 to 15 years in prison each.
One could only hope all of these morons would be dealt with the same way the FSB dealt with the rioters in Dagestan.
