IDF troops continue to locate weapons and eliminate terror operatives throughout the Gaza Strip; approximately 100 rocket installations were located by the troops

During IDF activity in the area of Beit Lahia, the troops located approximately 100 rocket set-installations and 60 ready-to-use rockets. The troops killed dozens of terrorists during the activity.

In a coordinated operation between the IAF and IDF ground troops in northern Shati, the troops directed aircraft and a helicopter to strike nine terror operatives. During IDF activity in Khan Yunis, the troops directed aircraft to strike terror operatives that were identified in the area, and directed a helicopter to strike an observational device that endangered the troops. In addition, armed terrorists identified near the forces were killed by our forces.

Well apparently Pakistan was the guy who got sick of the loud drunk in the bar and punched him in the face.

There is no love lost between them, but I think this ends pretty quickly. Their dance cards are pretty full already.

We were probably to that point already. Probably need ten threads for all the on-going Machiavellian hijinks in these "Thankless Deserts".
How would you go about it? It seems to be a general brawl with no referees.

I don't get how no one is asking the one question which actually matters?!?

Why is Iran attacking Pakistan actually the fault of white men, Trump, capitalism, Israel, Jews and other nazis?

It "could" be seen as a demonstration of frustration from Iran, perhaps.

They have been baiting left and right, in Syria, Israel, Iraq, Yemen, Gulf of Oman, etc... and nobody really reacted.

Pakistan is a first. Maybe Iran is hoping the current instabilities in the country, and the subsequent fragility of the Pakistan government following Imran Khan's imprisonment, will lead to whoever is in power to overreact or for schisms in the country to deepen thus creating a crisis Iran could exploit.

But to sow chaos in an already destabilized nation with nukes?!?
Iranians are playing with fire. It makes one wonder if Khamenei still has a firm hold on the tiller.
Then, I see the Taliban are calling for calm:eek:

But who would come to either side's aid?

Iraq since they are majority shia, but it would likely trigger a civil war. Some Gulf States with little military power and a tiny indigenous population.

After the distancing from the US and towards China by Pakistan and the US under two presidents trying to cuddle up to Iran I don't see much sympathy there. The rest of NATO is barely relevant in that part of the world.

China would have to stab one of their friends in the back, writing off their investments in at least one but likely both countries and have it's reputation tainted.

Russia is having enough problems of it's own.

The rest of BRICS? Brazil nope, India is probably already in the process of ROFL as we speak. The South African armed forces anno 2024? Haha.

Maybe Bangladesh would support Pakistan, if India doesn't throw up a hissy fit.

Imo Pakistan vs India is a much bigger powder keg due to the China factor.

There are rumours that Iran is repositioning ballistic missiles closer to Pakistan.

If I could see any countries using military force (including nuclear weapons) with the least regard for the results to their own civilian population it would be Iran, Pakistan and Best Korea.

Both are influenced by the Chinese, so I wonder how Pakistan is going to take China trying to destabilize it through Iran or at the very least not lifting a finger to stop it.

I mean, Iran has attacked Israel (the country and its interests abroad) and the US (military bases, military personnel and units, interests abroad and diplomatic structures).

And both Israel and the US are nuclear powers as well.

I think China has not intent to be pushed in this. Their warfaire in that sector is economic, not military. Pakistan and India are extremely far from their center of gravity, and they need to keep a strong showing in the Pacific with bullying Taiwan and the Philippines.

Sometimes there is this talk about the "global south" that will rise against the West, but when they get their chance, they seem to fight more against each other than anything else.

If these people would really play smart, they could do a lot of damage on the western powers who are involved in Ukraine, in the Persian gulf and red Sea, and the Pacific. That being said, the West is uncomfortable in situations of disorder and boy are things flying around in all directions just about now.

Pakistan is in a different league. There is a much greater chance of instability and a rogue faction gaining control over the weaponry.

On the other hand, a provocation from Iran might unite most of the various factions in Pakistan and cause them to put their difference aside for the moment.

Just a reminder, that Iran operates the F14, probably the best Air defence aircraft ever built........

There is a part of me that says who cares, but then another part thinks about global movement of people, and that wars tend to spread.

But Iran has been asking for it, and I certainly assumed it would be USA, or possibly Israel that delivered, but no, its Pakistan.....

F35 for Pakistan?
