An RQ20 Avenger appears to have been shot down near/over Sanaa, it seems?

Claims are the Houthis have shot down a F22, but:
1- the wreck isn't a F22.
2- where would it have been operating from?
3- what would the Houthis have managed to shoot it down with anyway?

If it were an F-22, which would not participate in this fracas anyway, the Houthis would be providing much better footage.

Did they capture the midget pilot? 🤣

Zero chance that stealth aircraft were used, absolutely zero need to risk giving away operational radar data to adversaries. Hornets with a Growler or two and an RC-135 to monitor enemy activity is more than enough.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
Quite frankly the Houthis left him no choice, but it's quite disappointing both parties are pandering to their wings when there should be a show of solidarity.
In what world is it OK for a "government" to continue to lob missiles at non-combatants after being repeatedly warned not to do so?
Meanwhile, Iran hides behind the Houthis egging them on.

Was it even his decision to begin with?

The Biden admin has been in complete freewheel since it took office, with decisions and communiqués made by staffers and other orbiting entities.

Maybe Austin's replacement decided to take the initiative, or something of the sort. But Biden suddenly deciding to strike the Houthis after months of attacks?
