Warfare HAMAS attack on Israel, Oct 2023 & Iran’s Proxies.

Syria and Iran tried to table a motion for all the countries friendly to Israel to cut ties with them, but they all refused. Hah.

"Tanks are useless on modern battlefield" - Elon Musk and every other f***ing internet "expert"... I shudder to think just how much more difficult it all would be without armor support.
It would be interesting to know how many tanks have actually been destroyed (ignoring the obvious terrorist propaganda).

If destroyed means penetrated and thus burned out, as apposed to a mobility kill, which has already been repaired, I'd say between zero and 3, and I'd be leaning to the zero.

The only known kill was a nammer which took maybe an rpg in through the rear door, resulting in 11 KIA.

Certainly the Palestinians still have mobile phones, so would have got a photo by now, if a Merkava was destroyed.

From the small amount of weapons the IDF have shown captured, it suggests HAMAS didnt really prepare for a land attack on them, most of the money seems to have been spent on tunnels/graves, and unguided rockets, which Israel absorbed by Iron Dome etc. This suggests the egyptians did fairly well in spotting actual firearms being smuggled.

Next phase really depends on how much time Israel thinks it has. It would be logical to meet up on the beach, simply for the morale boost/hit to hamas.

If tanks were "useless", neither the Russians nor the Ukrainians would be doing their best to get as many into the fight as possible, nor would the IDF, a very results oriented organization, use them. People who make these blanket statements usually take one screwed up internet report, misinterpret it, and apply the wrong lesson for a very specific circumstance to general conditions.

Let's not forget the intensive bombing campaign that preceded the actual invasion.

It likely participated in significantly thinning Hamas ranks and stockpiles.

They have no idea what happened in Auschwitz... Dumpasses
It's what you get when lessons on the Holocaust are skipped by teachers necause they don't want to get beaten up by people who deny the truth and who get validated for it by politicians and schoolboards looking to "shield" them from "sensitivities". Like historical facts are subjective like they've also done to maths.

@IDF_TANKER and all,

Since you mentioned about the demonstration/protest against antisemitism in France, here’s the BBC article summing things up and for once relatively well:

The last bits and paragraphs are IMO the most interesting.

“This week one of the historic figures in the fight against antisemitism in France gave his views on these ironies of history and politics.

Serge Klarsfeld and his wife Beate helped bring Nazi war criminals to justice, and documented the deportations and deaths of 80,000 Jews from France exterminated in the Holocaust.
Speaking to Le Figaro newspaper, Mr Klarsfeld, now 88, said: "For me the DNA of the far right is antisemitism. So when I see a big party of the far right abandon antisemitism and negationism and move towards our Republican values, naturally I rejoice."
"The far left for its part has always had its own antisemitic tradition. So just as I am relieved to see the RN… take a stand for Jews, so I am sad to see the far left abandon its actions to combat antisemitism."

Basically that the far-left in France so Melenchon and his “France Unbowed” party have long given up on the working class French citizens to focus, on a purely electoral shenanigan to appeal to the suburbs in French major cities and a certain part of the electorate. No need to point finger you get it.

Whatever one think of Marine Le Pen, daughter of the infamous Jean-Marie and his dubious, tasteless cracks against Jews fourty years ago, his daughter and her party want to distance themselves from that.

I find pretty interesting someone like Serge Klarsfeld who spent his life chasing, prosecuting Nazis or French collaborators past the War while not endorsing the National Rally party approved of their presence at this protest, for the sake of unity in this country and beyond - on a continent threatened by a certain antisemitism which is not that of the brown shirts in the streets of Germany in 1936.
